What is wildlife exclusion?
Exclusion means finding every way an animal can get into your home or business and sealing it with materials the animal cannot chew, tear or push through. It is the step that turns a one-time removal into a lasting fix.
Why removal alone is not enough
An animal that found a way in once will not be the last one to find it. If the opening stays, the next raccoon, squirrel or colony of bats simply moves into the same space. Exclusion breaks that cycle, which saves you from paying for the same problem again.
How we do it
- Inspection. We check the roofline, soffits, fascia, vents, chimney, foundation, crawl space, garage and attic to find every entry point, including the ones you cannot see from the ground.
- Humane removal. If animals are already inside, we remove them first, so nothing is sealed in. Depending on the species and the time of year, that can mean traps or one-way exclusion devices, and young animals are never separated from their mothers.
- Sealing. We close each opening with durable materials that fit the job, such as metal flashing, heavy-gauge wire mesh, vent covers and chimney caps.
- Final check. We confirm every entry point is closed and that nothing is left behind.
Common entry points
- Roof vents, soffits and fascia boards
- Gaps along the roofline and where the roof meets the wall
- Chimneys without a cap
- Crawl space and foundation vents
- Openings around pipes, cables and AC lines
- Damaged siding or loose flashing
- Garage doors and attic access panels
Animals we keep out
Exclusion works for raccoons, squirrels, bats, rats and mice, opossums, skunks, birds and more. We handle both homes and commercial buildings across Rockwall County.
Entry points are often damaged too
Animals that get in usually damage something on the way. We can repair what they broke, see wildlife damage repair, and clean up the attic afterward with attic restoration.
